It has to be quantifiable. Recently, Day squat problem as reported by Nick Horton here I decided to do the 21, for no other reason than to do it. The thought of squatting every day for 21 days is specific, but be aware, I never actually composed down the precise routine I would do everyday.
In truth, I didn’t write it down at all. In my mind I had my own personal idea what would constitute me completing the task, a threshold that needed to be crossed for it to be meaningful. For instance, cranking out a few bodyweight squats had not been heading to be suitable, but also I knew I wasn’t going to squat my 1 rep maximum every day.
There was an natural flexibility in my plan, but I needed a concrete notion of what I considered a challenge, and what I thought had not been challenging. I submitted on twitter everyday what squats I had formed done, so I had made it public, but I understood I was going to regardless finish the challenge.
